Jason Taylor, M.Ac., AEMP, ADS, Dipl. Ac. is a licensed, National Board Certified, acupuncturist and Eastern Medicine Practitioner based in Sequim, Washington.

I graduated from the Maryland University for Integrative Health in 2014 with a Masters in Acupuncture, am board certified from the National Certification Committee for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and I am a certified Advanced Detoxification Specialist from the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA). I served as a board member of the Washington Acupuncture and Easterm Medicine Assolcation from 2014-2015..

Growing up in Toronto, Canada I explored lakes, rivers and forests while expanding my fascination with the natural sciences. I pursued a bachelor’s degree in biology before completing a Masters in Environmental Studies and starting work in the environmental and science education field. In 2001 I moved to Washington DC to found the Education Office of the Ecological Society of America. My favorite program, SEEDS, focused on mentoring and supporting underrepresented ecology students and we won the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Engineering and Mathematics Mentoring from George W. Bush in 2007.

I suffered from severe sinus infections from the ages off 15-30, going through many rounds antibiotics, steroids, and even surgery. When an ENT doctor suggested cutting out part of my sinuses I didn’t think that was a good idea and decided to try acupuncture. I haven’t had a sinus infection in over 18 years! It was this experience that first led me to contemplate a career in natural medicine.

When I became a parent, halfway through acupuncture school, sleep became hard to come by; I started to notice that energy lagged in the afternoons as did my patience. Some of his my patients were parents that were having difficulty sleeping and I’ve continued to see a great deal of what acupuncture does is help people sleep., relax and relieve anxiety. When you are able to relax and sleep well, healing comes naturally.

The mission and purpose of Jason Taylor Acupuncture is to bring relief to his patients suffering with insomnia, anxiety and acute and chronic pain. He does this by giving patients the tools to build and maintain their own wellness while providing real healing at the deepest levels.

When not in clinic, Jason is a stay-at-home dad to his two sons. He loves the outdoors and can often be found adventuring around the pacific northwest with his family.
